  • What is the Broadband phone service?
    Broadband phone service provides the connection of your incoming and outgoing calls over high-speed Internet. This is possible due to the use of advanced VoIP technology, which carriers your voice across high-speed Internet connection.

  • What type of Internet connection do I need in order to use your service?
    You need to have a Broadband (DSL, Cable or other high-speed Internet, and any regular telephone).

  • Can traditional phone(s) I currently have be used with Voxby service?
    Yes, you can continue to use your current telephone.

  • Can I use my computer and my VoIP phone at the same time?
    Yes, you can work on your computer, surf the Web, make and receive phone calls all at the same time.

  • Do I have to turn on my computer in order to call?
    No, your Voxby service works through your active high speed modem regardless of your computer status.

  • Is my Internet service included in the plans?
    No, Voxby phone service is responsible for the phone service only. As a customer, you must provide the Internet connection through your local ISP.

  • Can I keep my previous number or do I get a new one?
    You can either keep you current phone number or you can get a new one.

  • What plan should I choose?
    Depending on your needs, you can choose any calling plan. Compare additional services included into the package and choose a plan.

  • Can I switch between plans?
    Yes, you can switch between plans anytime. Please, contact our Customer Service representative to change your plan.

  • Can I change my password?
    Yes, you can change your password by editing your profile on “My account”. Your new password will be sent to your e-mail immediately.

  • Can I make international phone calls directly from my home/office?
    Yes, as a Voxby customer, you have the ability to call worldwide using Voxby service at the lowest international rates.


  • Is any fee applied if I change my plan?
    No, there is no fee for Voxby members if you change your plan.

  • Using Free International Option Plan, can I call international cell phones?
    No, international cell phone calls are not included in Unlimited International Plans. These charges will be itemized on your account separately.

  • Will I receive my bill by mail?
    No, we provide 24/7 access to your convenient on-line billing where you can always see the most updated information regarding your account. You can print your bill statement from your account anytime.

  • How can I view my monthly bill?
    In order to see your billing information you need to sign in with the user ID and password you created when you signed up for the service. Then click on “Billing”.

  • How do I pay for this service?
    You can pay online by Credit or Debit card.

  • Will I pay any activation fee upon applying for Voxby service?
    Yes, the activation fee is a one-time fee applied to your first order. It is 24.95 for Unlimited plans and 9.95 for Basic plan.

  • Are there taxes applied to Voxby services?
    We charge 5% sales tax for Massachusetts customers.

  • How are my minutes counted with Basic plan?
    The rounding for all charged calls is 1 minute.

  • Is there an extra payment for three-way calling?
    No, this feature is included in all plan packages for Voxby customers, and there is no charge applied.


  • How can I access my Voicemail?
    You can always access your Voicemail over the telephone or online from any computer. Simply log in to “My account” and click on “Voicemail”.

  • How does Voicemail notification work?
    You will receive an e-mail notification which will include an attached .wav file with the Voicemail message,
    so you can listen to it on your PC. Please, make sure your speakers are on and are set at an audible level.

  • Will I have access to my Voicemail if I change my phone number?
    Yes, you may access your Voicemail even if you change the number.
